A Bad Moms Christmas

“It is all about Christmas now. We skip over Thanksgiving.”

I have to be honest, I dislike Christmas because we stress ourselves out of stuff and more. Charlie Brown, from “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, and I share the same views on Christmas. It is too commercial. Overnight the shopping fairies come and push out all the Halloween candy and decorations to make room for Christmas decor and gifts. I was slightly dreading seeing this film because I thought for sure it would make me more of a Scrooge.
After seeing this film, I became more hopeful that we just might start making “We are taking back Christmas” a slogan that has everything to do with the real joy of Christmas. For example, spending time with family and friends, or buy your kids wrapped cardboard boxes.  That is what end up playing with after all that wrapping you do for little Lucy. I see the social media posts Christmas morning. In a subtle way,  these might have encouraged us through the power of persuasion to take back Christmas with a necessary trip to the Food Court in search of a glass of wine.

From the Desk of Dr. Metzger:
This sequel was decent but prefered the first “Bad Moms”.  This comedy had a little too many mother/daughter “awww” moments for this raunchy comedy fan.  It ends with the moms doing a “Hangover”-esque slow motion walk that makes me wonder if “Bad Moms” will be a trilogy. If there is a third film, I might not even see it. I did laugh out loud several times during “A Bad Moms Christmas” so that’s enough to catch at home.
Spoiler alert: Kenny G makes a cringeworthy cameo and the the male stripper dances like a robot (the opposite of sexy).  I had to warn you.
