Issa and Marsai made a great onscreen pair with their witty one-liners. I am still not quite sure of the random song scene. It was a cute first movie for Marsai’s production company. I look forward to more films from this young creative genius.   I recommend it for a lazy weekend of binge movie watching.

From the desk of Dr. Dion Metzger:

Marsai Martin has got talent! Issa Rae had some funny one-liners! That concludes all the nice things I can say about “Little”.  I love this “adult in a kid’s body” genre too (Freaky Friday, 13 going on 30) but this script fell flat. There were random song and dance scenes so points deducted for that too (you know how i feel about anything musical-like). I also don’t know what was worse in this film, Issa’s wig or the fashion. “Little” was a dud but it did introduce us to the big film career that’s up ahead for Marsai Martin. She’s a star.
