A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood

“What is mentionable is manageable.”  – Mr. Rodgers/Tom Hanks

Who are our heroes?  The ones that push us to see the love and beauty and truth that lies within us.  The ability to forgive, to face our fears, to be brave in a way that pushes us to show up in our lives. Tom Hanks flawlessly captured the spirit of Fred Rodgers, and reminded us that we are not too young to remember that what is mentionable is manageable.  Thank you Mr. Hanks for carrying his lessons forward.  Go see this film..take tissue and be still.

From the desk of Dr. Dion Metzger

Tom Hanks gives a flawless performance as Mr. Rogers in this intertwined tale about kindness and the power to forgive. I needed a notebook to write down all the nuggets of wisdom throughout the film. I learned and I smiled. This is the definition of a feel-good film.
